BISEE Books and The Book Bus Foundation
From September 2009 BISEE Books will be working in partnership with The Book Bus Foundation.
The Book Bus Foundation currently operates a mobile library and reading scheme in Zambia. For more details visit www.thebookbus.org
Working together, BISEE Books and The Book Bus Foundation intend to implement a similar scheme in and around Puerto Lopez, Ecuador. Making full use of the memorial reading corners and with enthusiastic and willing volunteers on board the aim of increasing literacy levels across the region should soon be achieved.

Book Bus teams up with Waterstones Bookshops
Ready for sale in-store 28th August 2009, Waterstones are producing the most delightful cloth, “bag for life”. With original Quentin Blake artwork, the bag will be on sale for £2.99 nationwide in all their stores. 10% of the sale price will be donated to The Book Bus. It’s designed for children (even adult-sized children!) and is perfect for a daily lunch bag. The launch party for this beautiful bag will be taking place on August 26th.
